Well, now I migh have to repaint

Now, as I think of the composition, I decided that to make it less stiff it's better to add space between his raised arm's sleeve and the jacket, also this way if I'll have some stuff sticking out from the book bag (umbrella, perhaps) i could create a curve. Thinking of repainting it on the different format, since more space on the left might work better.

Nice! Polina this is starting to look really good. I am so proud! I love the fuzzy background and the way it finds its way into the foreground via the hair. Looking good! I like your choices of leaving certain things blurred and distorted and other things more delicate. This is really starting to have a Nicolai Fetchin feel. Loving it! Watch that little space that the raised arm makes(the negative space inside) is that what you were talking about?

and you it looks like you fixed the hair, right? It looked weird before, it probably looked like that in the photo, but in the painting didnt make sense.

Also, should the secondary light be a little cooler, so that it offsets the orange light a little more? Maybe a bit greener or a bit bluer? greener might be interesting because its not a direct opposite. Also do you think you need to find other spots in the painting with a bit of orange? I am not sure, just asking. I like the strong orange light, I just wonder if you need just a touch, or warmer colors somewhere else, just to make it more even.
