COMMEMORATIVE BOOKMARKS

********** HI EVERYONE!
AT LONG LAST I FINISHED THE WINTER SOLSTICE/ NEW YEARS/ CHINESE NEW YEARS COMMEMORATIVE BOOKMARKS I DEVISED FOR ALL MEMBERS OF CHALKBRUSH! YAY! (ASIDE FROM LAMINATING AND GLUING UP THE EDGES OF THE LAST FEW, THAT IS.)

I THOUGHT, "WHAT A GREAT THING TO BE PART OF THIS ARTIST COMMUNITY," AND WAS FEELING CRAFTY AROUND THE HOLIDAYS... SO...

THAT, AND I HAD ALL OF THESE EXTRA TEST WASHES I MADE IN PREP FOR THE POST CARD SHOW LAYING AROUND ONE AFTERNOON WHEN I FOUND I DIDN'T HAVE A BOOKMARK HANDY....

SO, WHAT YOU SEE HERE IS THE FRONT AND BACK OF EACH ONE. THEY'RE MADE FROM WATERCOLOR, GLUE, INKJET PRINTOUT OF GRAPHIC, AND LAMINATION.
PATRICK'S HAS A DIFFERENT BACK BECAUSE I HAD MADE HIS AT THE SAME TIME I DID A SET FOR MY FAMILY, AND OTHER FRIENDS. THIS WAS BEFORE I DECIDED TO GO WITH THE MOSTLY-BLACK BACK.

I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE THEM!

I READ THAT THE CHINESE YEAR OF THE OX IS ONE OF
"prosperity through fortitude and hard work."

WELL, GEEZE, WE'VE GOT THIS ONE IN THE BAG ;).

HAPPY 2009, EVERYONE.!

Very Sweet, Angie. Thanks for doing these. Also I love the chalkbrush logo you made. Send me a high res version of it and I will use it as our header.

Aww Angie, this is pretty cool.I love the logo, and i really do need a book mark myself, i usually use what ever is laying around me. Right now I have a coffee stirrer as my "watchman" bookmark and a alcohol prep package (unused off course :P) as my "graveyard book" bookmark. You kick ass.

How nice of you. Creative and thoughtful. That is a rare human trait!. Awesome work. Cool emphasis on literally illustrating "chalk and brush" in the logo.
Now all that's missing is this:
You gotta say "WHAT, I'm cool like that, homeslice..I thought cha knew, and if you didn't... you betta ask somebody". ;)
