Sketch for Post Card Show

The deadline for the Visual Aids 4x6 "Postcards from the Edge" show is this Wednesday, December 10th. This is a rough sketch of the piece I would like to make for the show. I hope to try out some red/orange watercolor gradient for the background, then render the figure in cool blues in an opaque medium with black line work. I've not worked with watercolors more than once in close on to 10 years, and with acrylic paint in about 5. This ought to be very fun (I'm hoping).
